Last week Rhys from 5Gold was awarded a "Wests Future Star" Scholarship with the South West Sydney Academy of Sport. He's the first diver they have had and the second 10yo. 

On Sunday Rhys competed on the 3m Springboard and qualified for the Elite National Championships being held in July in Melbourne (covid dependant). He's already qualified on the 5m platform, so he just has the 1m Springboard to go.

He loves it so much, so it's always great when the results follow the dedication!
