World Environment Day
On Monday St John's celebrated World Environment Day. World Environment Day is an international day of environmental awareness and actions, celebrated on June 5th every year. The theme this year was "Restore our Earth", students participated in activities that allowed them to reuse and recycle old things and create something new. The students wore green and blue to show their commitment in leading a sustainable lifestyle and to spread awareness of the importance of keeping our planet safe from pollution. Students were asked to bring a gold coin donation, this money will be used to continue to support the school in different environmental initiatives.
