Principal's Report
Dear Parents/Carers,
"Dear Lord, When I feel as though I am alone in the eye of the storm, let me remember that you are with me, and that with you I can weather anything. I thank you for being there no matter how heavy my burden, no matter how tiring my load. Amen"
With the unsettled weather that we have had recently, we can be reminded that sometimes our lives can have similar 'unsettled' moments which can leave us feeling drained and anxious. Like the rainbow that can follow a storm, these moments in our lives are often followed by resolutions and feelings of calm and joy. Prayer and a focus on our many blessings can help us to weather the storms in our lives.
School events
It is pleasing that before the end of this year, we are able to organise some events for the children. As can be seen in the 'Dates to Remember' section of the Newsletter, the Parish Sacrament of Confirmation will be going ahead in a few week's time, and our Year 5 & 6 students have the chance to have day excursions to Wedderburn Christian Campsite.
Also, we are able to conduct a Swimming Carnival. With the current restrictions, this will need be held in a similar way to last year, being limited to just those students who wish to swim competitively in 50m events in order to trial for our school's diocesan team.
The P & F will also be conducting a meeting on Tuesday 30 November.
Information will be forwarded to parents about these events via Compass in the coming days.
Bell times
As mentioned in the Newsletter last week, from the start of 2022 our school day will commence just 10 minutes earlier at 8.45am. The end of the day will remain at our current time of 3.00pm.
Wishing you a safe and happy week,
Paul Moroney
Principal
