Principal's Report

Dear Parents and Carers,

Parent Teacher Interviews

Parents are invited to ensure that they have made an interview time to discuss their child’s academic progress and areas for growth with their child’s teacher, for the first semester. These interviews can be made online at the following address - Go to www.schoolinterviews.com.au

If you have any issues with booking your interview, please contact the school office.

These interview times will be closed off tomorrow morning – Thursday 27th June at 9am.

After this time, you will need to contact your child’s teacher in order to make an interview.

This year, we are encouraging all students from Kinder – Year 6 to be present during these Parent Teacher Conferences, to involve the student in providing reflections about their learning and together set some future learning goals for the second semester. We thank you for taking the time to be present at these meetings and for continuing to work in partnership to support your child and his/her learning. Conferences will be 15mins in length. Please complete and return the parent feedback that was included with the report prior to your conference with your child and his/her teacher.

Reports were sent home with students yesterday 25th June 2019. Please speak to your child’s teacher if you have not received his/her report.

Please take some time to read the insert – Reading your Child’s Report. The teachers are looking forward to meeting you over the coming weeks to update you on your child’s progress this semester.

Attendance Awards – Semester One

Attendance Awards will be given out at Morning Assembly next week.

100% Attendance awards are awarded to those students who have had no full or partial absences during Semester One (Terms One and Two).

Outstanding Attendance awards are presented to students who have had less than 5 full or partial absences during Semester One (Terms One and Two).

We understand, that at times, due to sickness and other circumstances that students need to miss attending school. Leaving school slightly early at the conclusion of special school activities such as the Cross Country, Athletics Carnival or Catholic Schools Week is not included in the calculation of these totals.
