Deputy Principal report
TERM 2 CLASS CAPTAINS
It is wonderful to be recognised for leadership qualities. We have had many students from years 1 - 6 recognised for such qualities by their peers and teachers. We congratulate those children who have been selected as Class Captains for this term and look forward to providing opportunities in which they can demonstrate their leadership skills..
We are confident that our student leaders will be great examples for others and demonstrate our Good Samaritan values.

CHURCH CAR PARK- HANDICAP PARKING SPOT
A quick reminder that the Accesible Parking spaces are only for those who are registered with a Mobility Parking Permit. There have been some parents and carers who have parked in these spaces during school dismissal. We would ask that these spots be left available for those members of the community who really need them. Thank you for your consideration of this matter.
CELEBRATING NATIONAL RECONCILIATION WEEK
National Sorry Day 2022 falls this year on Thursday, 26 May and is a day when we pause to remember the Stolen Generations of Australia’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. On Wednesday, 25 May, nine students will represent our school at a Sorry Day Service at Minto.
It leads us into the Week of Prayer for Reconciliation and National Reconciliation Week which is held each year between 27 May and 3 June.
The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2022 is Be Brave. Make Change. Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. For the Catholic Church in Australia, this week offers us a time to be fully the Church that God dreams for us - a Church in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples make their own unique contribution and that contribution is joyfully received by others.
