Last Friday, 64 very excited Kindergarten students travelled to Calmsley Hill City Farm for their very first excursion! It was a fantastic day full of hands on, experiential learning. The children were highly engaged in a variety of activities, including:

* Milking a cow

* Patting goats, sheep and baby animals

* Having a ride on a bumpy tractor 

* Watching 3 farming demonstrations shows - Stockwhip, Working Dog, and Shearing Sheep

All the children are commended on the way they listened respectfully to their guides and participated enthusiastically and responsibly in the activities throughout the day. It definitely was a wonderful day had by all.
