On Friday, 27 May, Sean Phonthaphanh represented the Wollongong Diocese at the MacKillop Football Team Selections in Goulburn.

Sean battled it out against teams from the Sydney, Wagga Wagga, Parramatta and Canberra-Goulburn Dioceses.  All up, there were 60 competitors.  Sean played his best and made the first cut of 24 players.  Sean did not make the second cut where 12 players were finally selected to represent MacKillop at the NSWPSSA School Championships.  Sean was so proud representing St Johns and the Wollongong Diocese and it was a great honour to have made the selection process and to make it to the stage he got to.  Congratulations Sean and well done on your fantastic achievement!
