RESOURCES TO ASSIST FAMILIES STAY SAFE ONLINE
eSafety has released new resources to help parents and carers from all backgrounds protect their families online.
The new videos and advice sheets from the Online Safety for Every Family suite of resources covers how to:
- get started with social media
- enjoy safer online gaming
- help your child if they are bullied online.
To make sure more families can start a conversation with their children about online safety, the information comes in multiple languages - English, Simplified Chinese, Arabic, Vietnamese, Tamil and Dari.
BOOK WEEK CELEBRATIONS
On Friday, 19 August, we held our Book Week Character Parade in the morning. It was a wonderful school community event. The students all looked amazing and dressed up with the consideration of this year’s Book Week Theme- Dreaming with eyes open… Their teachers also did a fabulous job and got into dress-up mode as well.
It is truly a wonderful week to highlight quality texts and the importance of reading.
