Teach me to follow the example of your Son,
to be worthy of being called one his people.

If you attended Mass on the weekend, you may have noticed the priest wearing pink or rose coloured garments. This was in recognition of Laetere Sunday, the fourth Sunday of Lent. Laetere means 'rejoice' in Latin and so, similarly with the third Sunday in Advent, the Church expresses hope and joy in the midst of our Lenten fasts and penances. The change in colour indicates a glimpse of the joy of Easter.

Fittingly, on Monday Miss Costello and myself attended a workshop facilitated by Fr Timothy Radcliffe, a well known preacher and speaker, who advocates all that is good about Christianity and how friendship with one another can bring about the joy of the Risen Lord.

Enrolments for Kindergarten 2025

It may seem early in the year to be including information about enrolments for 2025, however we will be holding interviews for next year's Kindergarten enrolments during May. Applications need to be submitted prior to 12 April and are completed online. A link to the application form is on our school's website. There have been occasions in the past where families already in our school forget to submit applications for Kindergarten. To avoid any last minute stress, please commence the application as soon as possible.

Enrolments for Year 7 Wollongong Catholic Education Schools

For those of you who are looking to enrol your child in one of the Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong schools for Year 7 2025 (John Therry, Mt Carmel or Magdalene Catholic Colleges), you are also advised to submit an application as soon as possible and before 12 April. It is also advisable to enrol in more than one, especially if your preference is a school outside of the Parish in which you live. Please contact the schools directly for any further information.

Please note that St Patrick's College and St Gregory's College are not part of the Catholic Education, Diocese of Wollongong system of schools and therefore have their own enrolment procedures. You would need to contact them for any information.
