Deputy Principal Report

PARENT COMMUNICATION SURVEY- CLOSING FRIDAY

If you haven't already, we are please asking you to complete our survey regarding consistent, regular and meaningful communication across K-6 with parents & carers. The link is below:

Parent/Carer Communication Survey

It should only take between 1-3 minutes.

The data collected will help us devise a plan for this year which will be implemented next term. This plan will then be evaluated as the year progresses to ensure we meet the right balance in supporting communication about student learning with parents and carers.

MONITORING ONLINE ACTIVITIES DURING THE HOLIDAYS

With the school holidays approaching, children are wanting to keep in touch with their friends from school. For many, this will be via online games and chats. This provides a fantastic opportunity to stay connected during the school holidays.

Keeping this in mind, we would encourage parents and carers to monitor their children’s online activities over the break. Please remember that staying involved and informed about your child's online activities is key. It's not about restricting their access, but rather empowering them with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate the digital world safely. By fostering open communication with children, they can make the most of the internet while communicating with their friends.

As has been tradition in previous years, our school has been invited to the local ANZAC day commemorations. We encourage teachers, parents and students to attend. We will meet on the corner of Allman and Queen Streets.

TELL THEM FROM ME SURVEY

At the beginning of Term 2, we will be inviting students, teachers and parents to provide feedback on their experience of our school using an online survey. The surveys are an important part of our whole school evaluation and planning process.

We would like to invite you to complete the Tell Them From Me (TTFM) Partners in Learning survey. As we value the role of parents and carers within our school community we would greatly appreciate your feedback. The information you provide will be used to maintain our commitment to working together in partnership to further improve student learning and wellbeing at St John the Evangelist, Campbelltown.

The survey is anonymous and will take approximately 20 minutes to complete. You will be able to access the parent survey on your computer or mobile device next term. We will provide you with access in Week 3.
