This years Cross Country Carnival is being held on Friday 5th April at Hurley Park, Lithgow St Campbelltown. Please see Compass for further details and to complete the permission note, which is due today. This is a compulsory school event and all students are expected to attend.

A reminder that competitive races are only for students 8 years and older, however they can choose the competitive race or the fun run.

Infants students will run a shorter course (see Compass for further details). 

There will be NO CANTEEN facilities available on the day. A separate note has been sent home from the P&F for the purchase of Sno Cones.

A coffee van will be available for spectators only (no purchases for students).

If your child is asthmatic, please ensure they carry their inhaler in their pocket during their race.

For Parent Helpers - Your assistance on the day is much appreciated and we look forward to working with you. If you are able to assist in setting up some of the school shade marquees, please meet Mrs New and Mrs Marshall at 8:30am, all other parents are asked to meet for a brief meeting and job allocation at 8:45am. If the school does not already have a copy of your Working With Children Check OR a signed Statutory Declaration, please send this to the Office asap, also please bring a fold up chair to sit on.If circumstances change and you are no longer able to assist, please notify us at your earliest convenience.

**Be conscious of the fact that students will be running after the relays, so maybe stop after 20 minutes.

 Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 (non competitive) will do their own ball games and relays at school in the morning. Have lunch prior to walking up to Hurley Park. Infants need to be seated at Hurley Park by 12:00pm.

 Primary students will cheer for Kinder, Year 1 and Year 2 students as they run. Some Year 6 students including House Captains will run with the infants classes – some to lead the way, others towards the back of the group to encourage them.
