Start Smart

This week our students have been part of the Start Smart Primary program, which teaches financial literacy through interactive workshops.

Research indicates that it is crucial to develop financial literacy skills from an early age. The program has been designed with a panel of leading specialists in primary education, cognitive development, instructional design and financial literacy.

Our Year 1 and 2 students are taken on a mission by Captain Cash the Superhero to speed to their needs and wait for their wants, Year 3 and 4 students are trained to be elite ‘’Cashletes” by Coach Cash and understand the importance of saving and budgeting and the Year 5 and 6 students look at setting savings goals and earning the money!
