ACU STUDENTS BEGIN THEIR TEACHER PLACEMENT

This term we welcome six students from ACU who are completing their Teacher Placement at St John’s. These students are currently completing their degree in Primary Education. It is crucial that opportunities like this one are provided for the next generation of Primary School Educators. We welcome them and hope they learn lots while being part of our special community.

POETRY IN YEAR 4

This term Year 4 have been focusing on various types of poetry in their writing. Below is an example of an Acrostic Poem created by Ben & Jack (4G). We though the subject matter was quite apt:

Blues are the best

Luai is as fast as a lizard
