Wollongong Diocese Coding Club Finals

On the 12^th of August the Wollongong diocese held the mBot Coding Club finals. St. John’s, despite only having our robots for 3 terms were successful in qualifying for the final and were superbly represented by James Palpal-Latoc, Bea Sualibios and Nicholas Adams.

All three students engaged in problem solving and coding challenges that required them to program a bot to escape a maze and to use their bot to push an opposing bot out of a sumo ring. We congratulate our students on their success in finishing second in the diocese for the A-mazing Race challenge!
