Last week, Emily Mansour in 6 Red represented St John's at the CEDoW Grand Final Public Speaking Competition. She was one of only 6 Grand finalists from across our Catholic Diocese. Emily's topic was Artificial Intelligence- Is it Helpful or Harmful? Emily did not receive a place, however the very high standard that she achieved in getting to the grand final is what made our school and her parents so very proud of her on the day. The judges told the audience that their job was nearly impossible as the competitors were so close. Emily was encouraged to join the school debating team when she gets to high school next year, due to the passionate and articulate way that she delivered her speech. Well Done Emily!
