Loving Father, thank you that you are my creator, you know me better than anyone else.

Help me to use the mind you have given me. May I learn with humility and grace.

May I grow in wisdom as well as knowledge.

Let me live a life of integrity in everything I do.

May I grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord.

Today we welcomed prospective families to our 'Open Day,' an opportunity for them to look around our school, meet some students, staff and parents, and to ask any questions. Our Year 6 student leaders conducted school tours and the feedback from our visitors was that they do an outstanding job. I had one visitor say that they have never come across Year 6 students with such confidence and pride in their school. 

Enrolments at St John's has increased over the last three years, and the 'Open Day' seems to be significant factor contributing to this increase. I am also very aware that families wanting to join the St John's community because of the recommendation of existing parents. I would like to acknowledge the positive support that you show our school to others in the local community.

Parish Welcome Mass

This Sunday 2 March, Fr John and the St John's Parish extend an invitation to any new students and thier families to join them at the 10.30am Mass. If you are able to attend, your child is asked to bring their school bag. Fr John likes to give the children a blessing with their bag as a symbol of the 'journey' that they are commencing in our school and parish.
