Due to the predicted heat on Friday, Kindergarten will now be walking to Hurley Park first thing in the morning with the Primary classes. Kindergarten will now be the first or second race of the day, and those who have pre-purchased a snow cone will receive this after their race. Kinder students will then walk back to school to participate in ball games and relays. No lunch orders are available, however the P&F will be selling snacks at the carnival, and the canteen will be open for over the counter purchases e.g. ice blocks, cupcakes, chips at both breaks. **
Our Cross Country Carnival will be held on Friday at Hurley Park.
8-12 year olds will walk to Hurley Park at 9am. Kinder, Year 1 and Fun Run Year 2 students, will remain at school in the morning session and participate in sporting activities. They will walk to Hurley Park for 12pm.
Attached is a schedule for the day. These times are a guide only, and may change.
If you have not given permission for your child to attend on compass, can you please do that today. We are still after more volunteers to help on the cross country track. If you are able to help, please contact the office.
At the conclusion of the carnival, approx 1:15pm you will be able to sign your child out to go home. All remaining students will walk back to school with their teachers.
