Vinnies winter sleepout
On Friday night 8th August, some of our brave Year 5 and 6 students participated in the St. Vincent de Paul School Sleepout, one of the coldest nights of the year! They came together to sleep outdoors and get a small glimpse into the reality of homelessness.
The students participated in activities to help them understand and empathise with the many Australians experiencing homelessness. We were also lucky enough to have Kelly from Vinnies bring the Vinnies Van to our school. She shared her experiences and explained the incredible work she does to support those in need.
We are so proud of our students for taking part in this meaningful event to support this wonderful cause!
