On Tuesday 3rd March, 14 students attended the Western Region Swimming Carnival at Bradbury.  All of the students tried their best in all of their events and cheered each other on throughout the entire day.  St John's had a number of students placed in the Top three in their heats and the Top six over all in their event.  

Year Six student Vivianne Matushevsky had an amazing day in the pool, finishing first place overall in 50m Backstroke and second place overall in 50m Breaststroke and 50m Freestyle. She was awarded 3rd place Senior Girls Age Champion and Vivianne will now be attending the Diocesan Swimming Selection Trials next Monday in Wollongong.  

Thank you to all the parents and supporters who were able to come along to cheer on the swimmers. The students had an amazing day and should be very proud of all their efforts. - Miss Symons
