Dear Parents/Carers,

Even though it has begun unusually, I welcome you all back to Term 2. I trust that you are all keeping well and that the Easter season brought some joy and peace for your family. This morning I happend to read a short passge in Matthew's Gospel which seemed relevant for this current time we find ourselves in: "Come to me all you that are heavy with burdens, and I will give you rest." If you are finding yourself burdened, I pray that you are able to experience the 'rest' that Jesus can provide.

Updates

Following on from a letter that was sent via Compass last week, please note the following:

• Remote learning is continuing as it did in the final weeks of Term 1.
• Students are still encouraged to access remote learning from home. Where students are able to stay home they are encouraged to do so. 
• The school remains open for students who need to attend. Supervision will continue to be provided for students unable to stay home. The education experience will be the same whether students are at home or at school.
• In line with NSW Government advice, plans are currently being organised for us to begin a phased approach to support students to attend school in person from Week 3 (May 11). This will mean that all children will attend school one day per week. We are currently working with the Catholic Education Office to finalise our approach. A letter will be distributed this Friday afternoon with further details.

Health and Safety

During this time it is important that we maintain the regulations required in terms of reporting any incidents of COVID-19. It is vital that you inform our school if your child has been tested for COVID-19, or is in isolation due to being a close contact of someone being tested.
