Dear Parents/Carers,

Wishing you a very Happy Easter and a very warm welcome back for Term 2!

I hope that the holidays were a time to enjoy the company of family and friends and to bask in the beautiful weather. Hopefully, the time away from the usual routine provided an excellent opportunity for rest, relaxation and recharging of batteries in preparation for what promises to be a very hectic, but hopefully a very productive Term 2.

Last weekend, one of our parents David Peters (father of Blake Year 4 Red, Chloe and Lachlan (JTCHS) and uncle of Cameron (K Blue) lost his battle with cancer. We remember his wife Michelle, their children and extended family members at this very sad time. May he rest in eternal peace.

I will be away from school this week on Wednesday 1^st May and Thursday 2^nd May as I will be attending professional learning. During my absence we warmly welcome back Jan Hutton to St John’s.
