Heavenly Father,
We thank you for the gift of grandparents.
Bless them with health, strength, and great joy.
Thank you for their love, wisdom, and the stories they share.
May they always feel our gratitude and may their love continue to be a light in our families and in our children's lives.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Dear Parents/Carers,
Grandparents' Day is coming up! We're so excited to celebrate our wonderful grandparents this coming Friday. We will begin the day with a special Mass at 10.00am under the COLA, where we will thank God for the blessing of our grandparents and their guidance in our faith. Following Mass, there will be a chance for some morning tea, and then students will have the opportunity to show their grandparents around the their classroom. The Book Fair will be open in the library, so maybe the children will be able to twist their grandparent's arm to have a visit. Children can then be signed out by their grandparents if they wish.
It will be a beautiful day to honour the special connection between our students and their grandparents.
Wishing you a blessed week,
Paul Moroney
Principal
